Directions: From I-5 North or South take Brooks exit#263 and head west 1.8 miles to Wheatland Rd. Go right (north) for 2.5 miles to Willamette Mission State Park entrance. Look for signs! Follow road past fee booth 1.5 miles to Equestrian Trailhead area on right.
From Salem/Keizer take River Rd north to Wheatland Rd. Follow north for 5.5 miles to Willamette Mission Park entrance and look for event signs! "Day use and parking fee included in entry" Carpooling is strongly encouraged!
Course Description: **2017 REVISED COURSE MAP LISTED BELOW** RIVER FLOODING ALTERNATIVE COURSE!
Very scenic single and double track trails around the Willamette Mission State Park. Mostly flat 3.1 and 6.2 mile loop courses with portions along the river. Be prepared for mud on the course! The course will be well marked with arrows and cones. Choose either the 5K or 10K event! Both events begin at 9AM and follow the same course. The 5K splits off from the 10K course and loops back to the finish. Pets are always welcome. Sorry, NO jogging strollers.
Elevation: Mostly Flat
Awards/Prizes: Top 3 Overall and age division winners receive awards in both the 5K and 10K . Age groups are 9 and under 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+. Raffle prizes, food and refreshments following the event.
