Run Wild Adventures is hosting our fourth and final winter series event the Santiam Canyon Scramble just a short 22 mile drive east of Salem, OR. 
Come on out and camp the night before the event! There are 10 campsites near the start/finish line. We will host a campfire complete with music, snacks and maybe some cheap beer!
Directions:
From I-5 exit 253 (Salem/Detroit Lake exit)take Hwy 22 East for 21 Miles and turn left on Fern Ridge Rd just before Lyons turn off. Follow Fern Ridge Rd. North for 1 Mile and Look for "Race Today" sign! Take a hard right and go through yellow gate and up Gravel road for 2 Miles to Start/Finish area at the campground.  MAP    Carpooling is always strongly encouraged!
Course Description:
Well we can't give away too many details because this is a scramble! This event will definately rock your world later this winter! Our final winter series race may be the most exciting off road adventure run the Salem area has seen in a long time! Throw in some mud, rocks, creek crossings, waterfall, heavy brush and hills all along amazing trails and scenery! A sense of adventure is encouraged! Just pretend you are a kid again running around in the forest! Bring some band-aids if you're concerned about some bleeding and your "snuggie" for a warm hug after you finish this motha! The roughly 5 mile course will be well marked with bright yellow Montrail ribbon. Dogs are always welcome. Awards for the Top 3 overall Male and Female Victims finishers and age group winners!
Random prizes will be given away from our fine sponsors.
