PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT THE DETROIT LAKE LOCAL COMMUNITY. THE PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE, ENCOURAGE AND DEVELOP THE ECONOMIC HEALTH AND TOURISM IN THE DETROIT LAKE AREA AS WELL AS PROVIDE A UNIQUE AND ENJOYABLE EVENT TO PARTICIPANTS.

Directions:
From Portland, Salem or Eugene take I-5 exit 253 (Detroit Lake/Hwy 22) and follow east for nearly 50 miles to the town of Detroit. Take the first right just after the bridge and before the Cedars Restaurant to the event start area in town. From Central Oregon take Hwy 20 west past Hoodoo ski area to the Hwy 22 junction and follow Hwy 22 nearly 30 miles until you reach the town of Detroit and take a left in town to the event area. MAP HERE SIGNS WILL BE POSTED!
Course Description:
An epic challenge of a course with mud, rocks, water crossings, hills, trails, stumps and amazing scenery all taking place on the lake bottom of Detroit Lake in the Cascade Mountain Range! You will be a filthy mess after this event and plan to wear clothing and shoes you don't mind ruining! A sense of adventure is strongly encouraged! The roughly 5 mile course will be well marked and begins and ends in front of city hall in the town of Detroit. All ages and abilities welcome to participate!
Awards/Prizes:
Top 3 Overall Male/Female and top age division winners receive awards. Age groups are 9 and under 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 and 60+. Raffle prizes following the event.
