Are there refunds on race entries?
Sorry, we do not offer refunds. We understand that plans change and circumstances happen, but entry fees are non refundable. Please note that when you register early that you have make the commitment to the race.

Can I transfer my paid entry to another person or event?
No. Sorry we do not transfer to other people or events. When you registered you accepted the waiver and agreement. The waiver is for the registered participant ONLY.

Will you sell out, should I register early?
Yes, most of our events sell out early. We limit all our races due to keep the small race feel and to limit trail congestion.

Can I register day of race?
Sometimes. Some or most of the races sell out early. Keep tabs on the website leading up to the race for updates on registration. Please note that is costs more to register day of race rather than early.

Are walkers allowed to participate in the events?
Yes! We encourage all ages and abilities to participate in our events! Please note that if you choose to walk the event that you are not guaranteed to make the awards/prizes ceremony or have any warm food/coffee left over…Also course volunteers/photographers/staff may start packing up before you finish.

Where can I pick up my race packet?
Packet pickup takes place near the start/finish area and usually begins at 7:30am on race morning

Can my dog run with me?
Yes most of the time except for Silver Falls events! Please be courteous of others and keep pets on leash at all times while at the event.

Are headphones allowed during the run?
Yes. Please be aware of your surroundings and courteous of others while running with headphones.

Where can I see my results?
Results are posted online within 24 hrs of the race. Unofficial printed results are provided onsite during the event.

Are there photos at the event?
Yes there is always photographers on hand to snap the action and provide viewable online photos within 24 hrs of the event. Photographers are voluntary and not guaranteed to capture everyone’s photo or stay the duration of the event.

If I have to leave early before the awards ceremony, can my award be mailed out?
No, Sorry we do not mail awards or prizes. They must be picked up at the event or at our next scheduled event.

How is this course marked?
We use white flour and yellow cones and depending on the weather conditions we may mark with flags. We strive to make every attempt to have a very well marked course.

Do I have to wear my race number?
Yes!!!! On the front and visible during the run and at the finish! The race number is how you are entered in the timing software! If we can’t see your race number, you may not be listed in the results. Absolutely NO bandits allowed to participate!

What drinks and food are provided at the finish?
We always provide some sort of hot dish (chili, stew, chicken noodle soup, etc.) fresh fruit, and Great Harvest Bread w Peanut Butter. Beer Garden, Hot chocolate and Silver Falls Coffee. Always have plenty of water on hand and HEED Electrolyte. Sorry, we do NOT provide alternatives to the main dish. We try to be fair and provide something that appeals to MOST of the crowd. If you have special diet needs, please be advised that we cannot cater to everyone. If you require something other than what we provide (our main dishes are known to have meat in them), please bring with you. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Are race t-shirts available to purchase?
Currently only at Silver Falls events. All other races might soon be offering race specific shirts. Stay tuned…

What about Run Wild Swag?
All Run Wild shirts/socks/hats and other swag is available to purchase online HERE, also swag is now for sale at the events. Cash, Check or Credit Card accepted. Also select Run Wild gear will be offered at the post race raffle!

Am I eligible for raffle drawing prizes even if I don’t finish?
Yes! All participants and volunteers are allowed to join in our post race raffle.

Who can win awards?
We are giving awards to top 3 male and female overall and top 3 in age groups. Age groups are every 5 years…

What clothing/shoes should I wear?
This will definitely depend on the weather conditions on race day. Keep a close eye on the weather forcast leading up to the race. Typical conditions in Oregon = cold and rainy. Please come prepared, it will make a more enjoyable experience.

Yes like our Facebook page. Also we try to keep all updates and info on this website.
